Dr. Patel has the unique distinction of having perfected his art of dentistry on thousands in India after graduating and then honed his skills further for the last 25 years in the United States of America. He had been toying with the idea of doing some philanthropic and charitable work in both countries when his inspiration was crystallized by Swades, the mega-hit Bollywood movie, which reflected his own philosophy of "giving back" to your country some of your knowledge and service.
Although not a charitable organization, SWADESH INTERNATIONAL, will have a benevolent division attached to every office in India, providing dental and other basic medical care free of charge to the less fortunate. This will even include mobile units going to remote villages, bringing basic dental and eye care to the poor and elderly.

A nonprofit foundation will also be set up under the umbrella of SWADESH INTERNATIONAL to raise funds for education, housing and catastrophic emergency help whenever needed in India or elsewhere.

India has made gigantic progress in many fields in the last decade and a half, taking a cue from the most advanced in the world, embarking on developing infrastructure in many areas, which in the future will form the lifeline of the human race. One such area is medical treatment, with clinically perfect and technically efficient medical home-grown personnel. Coupled with state-of-art Diagnostic and Therapeutic technology of the American and European continents, the marriage was complete. Thus the highest quality of medical treatments, at par with the best facilities in the world, can now be made available in various Indian cities, like Bombay, GOA and many others in the near future.
